Another awesome article.

When I was finding my way back to the faith after many years as a lapsed Catholic, I didn't fully "get" what Mary's role in salvation was and why so many have such a strong devotion to her. I understood in theory what made her special and, being a good son and grandson of devout and selfless Italian women, could always relate to having reverence and care afforded to our maternal caretakers. Only recently have I come to fully appreciate why she is rightly exalted with the title of "Queen of Heaven"; it's certainly something to think about as I don't think Mary is given as much time during homilies or catechesis (as I remember it, at least) when compared to other aspects of the faith.

Either way, I'm looking forward to coming back to this piece. Thanks as always.

This is just what I needed to read. I have had some weariness and subconscious undermining of my daily rosary.
