When I was finding my way back to the faith after many years as a lapsed Catholic, I didn't fully "get" what Mary's role in salvation was and why so many have such a strong devotion to her. I understood in theory what made her special and, being a good son and grandson of devout and selfless Italian women, could always relate to having reverence and care afforded to our maternal caretakers. Only recently have I come to fully appreciate why she is rightly exalted with the title of "Queen of Heaven"; it's certainly something to think about as I don't think Mary is given as much time during homilies or catechesis (as I remember it, at least) when compared to other aspects of the faith.
Either way, I'm looking forward to coming back to this piece. Thanks as always.
Outstanding like always! I’d appreciate it very much if you covered indulgences at some point.. I was discussing the matter with some friends recently and realized my grasp of the concept is tenuous at best.
In Defence of the Virgin
Another awesome article.

This is just what I needed to read. I have had some weariness and subconscious undermining of my daily rosary.

Outstanding. Thank you.
Beautiful things to meditate on! Thank you!
Glories of Mary by St. Liguori is beautiful (and I have not even finished reading it yet)
