My Interview with Andrea Cionci

Vere Papa Mortuus Est

I had the pleasure of conducting a written interview with Dottore Andrea Cionci on his Ratzinger Code Thesis. He is a degreed art historian, journalist, and author. He was an embedded journalist in theaters of operation including Afghanistan, Lebanon, Kenya, and the Himalayas. He is a regular contributor to the Italian national newspaper Libero. He has spent the last four years of research on the controversy surrounding the legitimacy or illegitimacy of the Bergoglian Papacy/anti-papacy thoroughly explained in his best-selling book, The Ratzinger Code.

It is my understanding that there are three theses for how Bergoglio is not the Pope. (1) The first argument is based on Robert Bellarmine, that because Bergoglio is allegedly a formal and material heretic, schismatic, and apostate, he is not the Pope. (2) The second argument is the one of Substantial Error, that one of the last highly trained Latinists and theologians in the church made critical errors in the composition of the Declaratio, which errors invalidate his resignation. (Is my understanding correct here regarding the Substantial Error argument?) (3) And the Third Thesis is your argument found in The Ratzinger Code. Could you briefly summarize what the essence of your thesis is on how Bergoglio is not the Pope? 

Other theologians, other than St. [Robert] Bellarmine, argue instead that a heretical Pope, in any case, cannot be deposed: the Pope cannot be judged by any earthly or ecclesial authority having for superior only Jesus Christ. This has always been a theoretical, scholastic hypothesis, never supported by canonical procedure precisely because the heretical pope is an oxymoron: the promise of Christ would be broken. Trying to impeach a legitimate pope, even if heretical, runs the risk of falling into the heresy of episcopalism, which claims the existence of a body within the Church (Ecumenical Council, Synod, College of Cardinals, College of Bishops) that can issue a legally binding judgment on the pope.

The substantial error thesis would work on a theoretical level because if the act of abdication had been misspelled, Pope Benedict would have remained Pope willy-nilly. But the Declaratio was not a misspelled abdication: it was something else, it was an announcement of an impeded See.

And then the pope's unawareness is totally betrayed by the hundreds of his statements (the so-called "Ratzinger Code") in which he makes it clear to us how he was totally aware that he remained the only true pope, "freely offering himself" to the impeded see. Moreover, given that Ratzinger himself wrote the Universi Dominici Gregis, where in Article 77 it says that the vacancy of the see must take place in accordance with the norm of the Code of Canon Law (CIC 332.2)- with the renunciation of the munus (office) which was lacking- it is really absurd to think that he did not know how to write a proper abdication.

The numbers add up perfectly instead, with the results of my three-year investigation (700 articles, 300 podcasts, and a bestseller already at 18,000 copies sold, The Ratzinger Code. As is now well known, Pope Ratzinger was forced out of the way by the globalist powers and a lobby of unfaithful cardinals, the so-called St. Gallen group. Vatileaks also brought to light a plot to kill him. However, Benedict XVI did not "run before the wolves" and made sure that whatever pope was elected while he was alive was not a true pope, but an antipope, destined to be nullified.

He never really abdicated, but, mind you: he did not cheat, he always told the truth.  The correct translation of the Declaratio in Latin is very different from the version that we have been handed, which is that of an abdication. That text, in essence, says "one of you will betray me." It is a self-fulfilling prophecy in which he announced that after 17 days he would renounce the ministerium, the power to administrate as pope, while retaining the munus petri (office of Peter), the "being Pope," the divine investiture as Pontiff. However, the Pope could never renounce only the ministerium while retaining the munus, because they are inseparable, as Cardinal Gerhard Mueller reminds us. The separation of ministerium from munus can only occur, however, by force majeure, by impeded see, that situation in which the pope is a prisoner, confined, exiled. It was precisely the 2013 conclave - illegitimate because it was convened by a Pope who had not abdicated - that constituted that coup d'état that placed Benedict in an impeded see, giving full consistency to what was announced.

In these three short documentaries I summarize my entire inquiry.

"Dies Irae": this (17 minutes) illustrates the perfection of the canonical dynamic by which Pope Benedict had himself placed in the "totally impeded See" in order to remain the true pope and thus schism Cardinal Bergoglio from the outset.

"Intelligenti pauca": in the second documentary, (16 minutes), it is shown how Pope Benedict, over the course of nine years of impediment, made us understand the canonical situation with a series of unequivocal messages.

“Redde rationem”

 in the third documentary (9 minutes) it is shown how the Universi Dominici Gregis was set up exactly to get out of the present situation.

How do you explain the Italian interpretation of conspiracy theory vs the American understanding, and does that explain the willingness of Italians to accept your thesis and for Americans to be reluctant? 

By now, any statement that sticks to logic and goes against the mainstream is automatically relegated to the "conspiracy theory" category. Quite ridiculous. Recall that it was the CIA that used the term conspiracy theory to discredit anyone who did not believe the Warren Commission's statements about the JFK assassination. Even in Italy, this misuse is spreading, but the Italians have been at the forefront of studying the present issue at hand, since 2013, with the study of canonist Don Stefano Violi. I myself wrote 700 articles in two years in a national newspaper, Libero, so there has been more information and debate on the issue.  Finally, our natural, age-old distrust of the political world, as well as a deep Catholic conscience, made many understand early on how Bergoglio certainly cannot be the pope.

How do you interpret the figure of the bishop in white in the third secret of Fatima? Is he John Paul I, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, or Bergoglio? 

At the end of my book The Ratzinger Code I propose a novel interpretation of the “Third Secret.” The whole second part must be seen in the mirror, that is, in reverse. According to this view, one can find a symbolic consistency that leads one to see the figure of Bergoglio really as that of a "bishop dressed in white." He is not the real Pope, therefore, since with papacy or anti-papacy one loses cardinal status, in fact he is an illegitimately dressed bishop in white. Very curious, then, when Benedict XVI wrote about him, "He is a reflective man, a Pope that reflects." But as far as Fatima is concerned, this is my personal interpretation and should be taken as such. Different is the canonical question, which is objective.

How would you respond to the 1958 Sedevacantist claims (Siri vs Roncalli)? 

Theses based - literally - on smoke, the white smoke that would signal an alleged election of Cardinal Siri. I have brought tons of documentary evidence about Benedict XVI's anti-usurpation device, but this is ignored by sedevacantists who continue to rely on the smoke story. Moreover, if Siri had renounced under threat, his renunciation would still have been valid since the alternative could have been, for him, martyrdom. In any case, since bishops have to be approved by the Pope, if the last Pope were Pius XII, there would be no ecclesial hierarchy today and the Church would be long over.

What do you make of the retired Italian Brigadier General Piero Laporta's claim that an American intelligence agent bragged in 2005 that Ratzinger would be forced to resign? 

That was certainly the case, I have a wealth of evidence of that. It is also likely that Benedict suffered a poisoning attempt, as some internal rumors report, and the Vatileaks scandal produced documentation about Mordkomplott (assassination attempt), a plan to kill him. No wonder at all, considering that ever since Paul VI, Popes have been threatened or physically assaulted.

Why do you think revered hierarchs like Abp Vigano, the five dubia cardinals, bishops Schneider and Strickland have not moved on any of these three arguments to seriously challenge the validity of the Bergoglian papacy? 

As for the Cardinals and Bishop Strickland I think they have not yet delved into the Magna Quaestio (Great Question). Bishop Schneider continues to surgically avoid answering the question of the Impeded See, he does not even dare to mention it. Abp. Viganò, in recent years has been informed by me about my inquiry in a continuous and capillary way. In spite of everything, he is always looking for new gimmicks (irregularities in the 2013 conclave, Bergoglio's heresies, vice of consensus), which, however, lead to false leads that are not decisive. Under no circumstances, I believe, would Abp. Viganò give credit for saving the Church to Benedict XVI, whom he counts as part of a "conciliar sect" or a series of "apostate" rulers, as he recently declared on Twitter. Probably these traditionalist circles are aiming at an agreement for the next conclave, perhaps exploiting precisely the Impeded See to "convince" the false Bergoglian cardinals: "If you now do not vote for one of ours, we will open the Pandora's box of the impeded See and blow up your scarlet cassocks." This would be an exclusively political design, carried out in utter disregard for the sacred character of the canonical papal election. Christ is truth, if one does not stand in the truth of the facts, nor even approach it with a critical spirit, one is not in the way of Christ.

If your thesis as presented in the Ratzinger Code is correct, then what are the ramifications for all acts taken by Bergoglio for the Catholic Church since March 13, 2013, including the Synod on Synodality? 

In impeded see "nothing shall be changed in the government of the universal Church" (CIC 335). Nothing done by the antipope has the slightest value. Everything will have to be nullified: from cardinal appointments, to encyclicals, to liturgical reforms, to canonizations... Nothing Bergoglio has done in ten years is valid, as he is not the Pope, since Benedict XVI has never abdicated.

Presuming that your thesis in the Ratzinger Code is correct, what would you propose as the path forward for resolving the issue?

It has all been carefully prepared since 1983, when Cardinal Ratzinger, at the behest of John Paul II, (the news can be found in "Latest Conversations") endowed the new edition of canon law with special norms and structures, inserting in the canon deputed to abdication the need to renounce the munus petri. Then, in the 1996, in Universi Dominici Gregis, art. 3 gave the power-duty to cardinals to protect the rights of the Roman See. In Art. 76 and 77 it is explicitly said that if the resignation of the Supreme Pontiff has not taken place in accordance with (CIC 332.2) (renunciation of the munus) the election is null and void. All that is needed then is for the Cardinal Dean or a substitute (of pre-2013 appointment) to simply say "vere papa mortuus est" (the pope is really dead) to unravel the whole imposture and kick off a legitimate conclave. Bergoglio would have little to protest: it has all been figured out by now and he has no rights. He just needs to be escorted to the door and canonically sanctioned for "usurpation of ecclesiastical office," according to (CIC 1375).

If your Ratzinger Code thesis is correct, and your proposed path forward is not realized, then what of the Catholic Church?

If the next conclave includes even one of the false Bergoglian cardinals, another antipope will be elected, lacking the munus and consequent assistance of the Holy Spirit. The antipapal line of succession will continue, as when antipope Anacletus II was succeeded in 1138 by antipope Victor IV. Then the visible canonical church will be finished: the situation can be recovered only as long as there are three real cardinals of pre-2013 appointment, the minimum number to form a conclave.

While the "Una Cum" intellectuals (the conservative Bergoglian legitimizers) fiddle with useless and harmful arguments, the Church is likely to end. In that case, it will have to "come out of the Synagoga" and refound itself outside.

That is why, together with the lawyers of the Arbitrium Association and the anti-mafia judge Angelo Giorgianni (World Organization for Life), we have just launched a petition, also translated into English.   

It is time for the Catholic people to decide to save their Church and mobilize by putting pressure on the real cardinals to intervene.

Mi risulta che ci siano tre tesi per dimostrare che Bergoglio non è il Papa. (1) Il primo argomento si basa su Roberto Bellarmino, secondo il quale, poiché Bergoglio è presumibilmente un eretico formale e materiale, uno scismatico e un apostata, non è il Papa. (2) Il secondo argomento è quello dell'errore sostanziale, secondo cui uno degli ultimi latinisti e teologi altamente qualificati della Chiesa ha commesso errori critici nella composizione della Declaratio, errori che invalidano le sue dimissioni. (La mia comprensione è corretta per quanto riguarda l'argomento dell'errore sostanziale?) (3) La terza tesi è il suo argomento che si trova ne Il Codice Ratzinger. Potrebbe riassumere brevemente l'essenza della sua tesi su come Bergoglio non sia il Papa?

Altri teologi, diversi da San Bellarmino, sostengono invece che un papa eretico, in ogni caso, non si possa deporre: il Papa non può essere giudicato da nessuna autorità terrena o ecclesiale avendo per superiore solo Gesù Cristo. E’ sempre stata un’ipotesi teorica, di scuola, mai supportata da una procedura canonica proprio perché il papa eretico è un ossimoro: verrebbe meno la promessa di Cristo. Cercando di mettere in empeachement un legittimo papa, anche se eretico, si corre il rischio di cadere nell’eresia dell’episcopalismo che sostiene l’esistenza di un organo all’interno della Chiesa (Concilio ecumenico, Sinodo, Collegio cardinalizio, Collegio episcopale) che può emettere un giudizio giuridicamente vincolante sul Papa.

La tesi dell’errore sostanziale funzionerebbe a livello teorico perché se l’atto di abdicazione fosse stato scritto male, papa Benedetto sarebbe rimasto papa volente o nolente. Ma la Declaratio non era una abdicazione scritta male: era un’altra cosa, era un annuncio di sede impedita. E poi l’inconsapevolezza del papa è totalmente smentita dalle centinaia di sue affermazioni (il cosiddetto “Codice Ratzinger”) in cui ci fa chiaramente comprendere come egli fosse totalmente cosciente di essere rimasto l’unico vero papa, “offertosi liberamente” alla sede impedita. Peraltro, visto che Ratzinger stesso scrisse la Universi Dominici Gregis, dove all’art. 77 si dice che la vacanza della sede deve avvenire a norma del can. 332.2, (con la rinuncia al munus, che è mancata) è davvero assurdo pensare che lui non sapesse scrivere una corretta abdicazione.

I conti tornano perfettamente invece, con i risultati della mia inchiesta triennale (700 articoli, 300 podcast, un bestseller da 18.000 copie vendute, “Codice Ratzinger”). Come ormai noto, papa Ratzinger è stato costretto a togliersi di mezzo dai potentati mondialisti e da una lobby di cardinali infedeli, il cosiddetto gruppo di San Gallo. Vatileaks portò alla luce anche un complotto per ucciderlo. Tuttavia, Benedetto XVI non è “scappato davanti ai lupi” e ha fatto in modo che qualsiasi papa venisse eletto mentre lui era vivente non fosse un vero papa, ma un antipapa, destinato a essere annullato.

Lui non ha mai abdicato davvero, ma, attenzione: non ha barato, ha sempre detto la verità.  La traduzione corretta della Declaratio in latino è molto diversa dalla versione che ci è stata ammannita, cioè quella di un’abdicazione. Quel testo, in sostanza, dice “qualcuno di voi mi tradirà”. E’ una profezia autoavverante nella quale annunciava che dopo 17 giorni avrebbe rinunciato al ministerium, il potere di fare il papa, conservando però il munus petrino, l’”essere papa”, l’investitura divina di pontefice. Tuttavia, il papa non potrebbe mai rinunciare solo al ministerium trattenendo il munus, perché essi sono inseparabili, come ricordava anche recentemente il card. Mueller. La separazione del ministerium dal munus può avvenire, però, solo per forza maggiore, per sede impedita, quella situazione in cui il papa è prigioniero, confinato, esiliato. Fu proprio il conclave 2013 – abusivo perché convocato a papa non abdicatario - a costituire quel colpo di stato che pose Benedetto in sede impedita, dando piena coerenza a quanto annunciato.

In questi tre brevi documentari riassumo tutta la mia inchiesta.

Come spiega l'interpretazione italiana della teoria del complotto rispetto a quella americana e come spiega la disponibilità degli italiani ad accettare la sua tesi e la riluttanza degli americani?

Ormai ogni affermazione che attenga alla logica e che vada contro il mainstream viene relegata automaticamente nella categoria “complottismo”. Abbastanza ridicolo. Ricordiamo che fu la CIA a utilizzare il termine complottismo per screditare chiunque non credesse alle bufale della commissione Warren sull’attentato a JFK. Anche in Italia si sta diffondendo questo cattivo uso, ma gli italiani sono stati in prima linea per studiare la questione, fin dal 2013, con lo studio del canonista don Stefano Violi. Io stesso ho scritto 700 articoli in due anni su un giornale nazionale, Libero, e quindi c’è stata maggiore informazione e dibattito sul tema.  Infine, la nostra naturale, secolare diffidenza verso il mondo politico, oltre a una profonda coscienza cattolica, ha fatto comprendere a molti e presto come Bergoglio non possa essere certo il papa.

Come interpreta la figura del vescovo vestito di bianco nel terzo segreto di Fatima? È Giovanni Paolo I, Giovanni Paolo II, Benedetto XVI o Bergoglio?

In fondo al mio volume “Codice Ratzinger” propongo un’interpretazione inedita del Terzo Segreto. Tutta la seconda parte va vista allo specchio, cioè a rovescio. Secondo questa ottica si può trovare una coerenza simbolica che conduce a vedere la figura di Bergoglio realmente come quella di un “vescovo vestito di bianco”. Egli non è il vero papa, quindi, dato che con il papato o con l’antipapato si perde lo status cardinalizio, di fatto egli è un vescovo abusivamente vestito di bianco. Molto curioso quando Benedetto XVI scriveva di lui: “è un uomo riflessivo, un papa che riflette”. Ma per quanto riguarda Fatima, questa è una mia interpretazione personale, come tale va presa. Diversa la questione canonica, che è oggettiva.

Come risponderebbe alle rivendicazioni sedevacantiste del 1958 (Siri vs Roncalli)?

Tesi basate – letteralmente – sul fumo, quello bianco che avrebbe segnalato una presunta elezione del card. Siri. Io ho portato tonnellate di prove documentali sul congegno antiusurpazione di Benedetto XVI, ma queste vengono ignorate dai sedevacantisti che continuano ad affidarsi alla storiella del fumo. Peraltro, se Siri avesse rinunciato dietro minaccia, la sua rinuncia sarebbe stata comunque valida dato che l’alternativa avrebbe potuto essere, per lui, il martirio. In ogni caso, dato che i vescovi devono essere approvati dal papa, se l’ultimo papa fosse stato Pio XII, oggi non ci sarebbe più una gerarchia ecclesiale e la Chiesa sarebbe finita da un pezzo.

Cosa pensa dell'affermazione del generale di brigata italiano in pensione Piero Laporta, secondo cui un agente dei servizi segreti americani si sarebbe vantato nel 2005 che Ratzinger sarebbe stato costretto a dimettersi?

E’ andata certamente così, ne ho una quantità di riscontri. E’ anche probabile che Benedetto abbia subito un tentativo di avvelenamento, come riferiscono alcune voci interne, e lo scandalo Vatileaks produsse la documentazione sul Mordkomplott, un progetto per ucciderlo. Non mi meraviglia affatto, considerando che, fin da Paolo VI, i papi sono stati minacciati o aggrediti fisicamente.

Perché, secondo lei, gerarchi di prestigio come Mons. Vigano, i cinque cardinali dubia, i vescovi Schneider e Strickland non si sono mossi su nessuno di questi tre argomenti per mettere seriamente in discussione la validità del papato bergogliano?

Quanto ai cardinali e al vescovo Strickland penso che non abbiano ancora approfondito la Magna Quaestio. Mons. Schneider continua a evitare in modo chirurgico di rispondere alla questione della sede impedita, non osa nemmeno nominarla. Mons. Viganò, negli ultimi anni è stato da me informato sulla mia inchiesta in modo continuo e capillare. Nonostante tutto, cerca sempre nuove trovate (irregolarità nel conclave 2013, eresie di Bergoglio, vizio di consenso) che però conducono su false piste non risolutive. In nessun caso, credo, Mons. Viganò riconoscerebbe il merito di aver salvato la Chiesa a Benedetto XVI, da lui annoverato in una “setta conciliare” o in una serie di governanti “apostati”, come da lui dichiarato recentemente su Twitter. Probabilmente questi ambiti tradizionalisti mirano a un accordo per il prossimo conclave, forse sfruttando proprio la sede impedita per “convincere” i falsi cardinali bergogliani: “Se voi adesso non votate uno dei nostri, apriamo il vaso di Pandora della sede impedita e facciamo saltare le vostre porpore”. Sarebbe un disegno esclusivamente politico, svolto nel più assoluto disprezzo per il carattere sacro della canonica elezione papale. Cristo è verità, se non si sta nella verità dei fatti, e neanche ci si accosta con spirito critico, non si è nella via di Cristo.

Come spiega al pubblico americano cos'era/è l'Operazione Gladio e Propaganda Due e le loro influenze sul Vaticano e sulla Chiesa cattolica?

(Su questo non sono sufficientemente documentato, io mi sono occupato essenzialmente delle dimissioni di Benedetto XVI)

Se la sua tesi presentata nel Codice Ratzinger è corretta, quali sono le ramificazioni per tutti gli atti presi da Bergoglio per la Chiesa cattolica dal 13 marzo 2013, compreso il Sinodo sulla sinodalità?

In sede impedita “nulla si modifichi nel governo della Chiesa universale” (can. 335). Nulla di quanto fatto dall’antipapa ha il minimo valore. Tutto dovrà essere annulato: dalle nomine cardinalizie, alle encicliche, alle riforme liturgiche, alle canonizzazioni… Niente di quanto fatto da Bergoglio in dieci anni è valido, in quanto egli non è il papa, dato che Benedetto XVI non ha mai abdicato.

Presumendo che la tesi del Codice Ratzinger sia corretta, quale sarebbe il percorso da seguire per risolvere la questione?

E’ stato tutto preparato attentamente fin dal 1983, quando il card. Ratzinger, dietro mandato di Giovanni Paolo II, (la notizia si trova in “Ultime conversazioni”) dotò la nuova edizione del diritto canonico di speciali norme e strutture, inserendo nel canone deputato all’abdicazione la necessità di rinunciare al munus petrino. Nel ’96, poi, nella Universi Dominici Gregis, all’art. 3 si dà il potere-dovere ai cardinali di tutelare i diritti della Sede romana. Agli art. 76 e 77 si dice esplicitamente che se la rinuncia del Sommo Pontefice non è avvenuta a norma del can. 332.2 (rinuncia al munus) l’elezione è nulla e invalida. Basta quindi che il cardinale decano o un sostituto (di nomina pre 2013) dica semplicemente “vere papa mortuus est” (il papa è davvero morto) per svelare tutta l’impostura e dare via a un conclave legittimo. Bergoglio avrebbe poco da protestare: ormai è stato capito tutto e lui non ha alcun diritto. Deve solo essere accompagnato alla porta e sanzionato canonicamente per “usurpazione di ufficio ecclesiastico”, a norma del can. 1375.

Se la tesi del Codice Ratzinger è corretta e il percorso da lei proposto non si realizza, che ne sarà della Chiesa cattolica?

Se il prossimo conclave comprenderà anche uno solo dei falsi cardinali bergogliani, sarà eletto un altro antipapa, privo del munus e della conseguente assistenza dello Spirito Santo. Proseguirà la linea successoria antipapale, come quando all’antipapa Anacleto II succedette, nel 1138, l’antipapa Vittore IV. In tal caso la chiesa canonica visibile sarà finita: la situazione può essere recuperata solo finché ci saranno tre veri cardinali di nomina pre 2013, numero minimo per formare un conclave.

Mentre gli intellettuali “una cum” (conservatori legittimisti di Bergoglio) si trastullano con argomentazioni inutili e dannose, la Chiesa rischia di finire. In quel caso, dovrà “uscire dalla Sinagoga” e rifondarsi all’esterno.

Per questo, insieme agli avvocati dell’Associazione Arbitrium e al giudice antimafia Angelo Giorgianni (Organizzazione Mondiale per la Vita) abbiamo appena lanciato una petizione, tradotta anche in inglese.

E’ ora che il popolo cattolico decida di salvare la sua Chiesa si mobiliti esercitando pressione sui veri cardinali affinché intervengano.
